Giveaway bot FAQ
How do I start a giveaway?
Use /giveaway start in Discord, pick the channel, then fill in the form for prize, description, duration, and winners. Or use the Giveaway designer in the dashboard. Lio posts a panel with a live countdown.
Can I use minute or day-range durations?
Yes. Enter durations like 320m for minutes or 1d-2d for a random duration within a range, in the giveaway form and the dashboard designer.
Is the giveaway module free?
Yes. Giveaways is a core module on the Free plan for up to 3 servers.
Does the countdown stay accurate?
Yes. Lio uses Discord live relative timestamps so the footer and embed countdown stay in sync, no frozen '18h left' while the real end time has passed.
