Conversion Module

Convert currencies and units in chat with /convert.

Overview

Members run /convert for money and everyday units. Currency rates come from the free ECB feed (Frankfurter API). Unit tables stay on the bot.

An optional default currency is only a hint in help text. It does not lock the command to one currency.

Setup

  1. Enable Conversion in Modules.
  2. Optional: set a default currency ISO code such as EUR.
  3. Save. Members can use /convert in any channel the bot can reply in.

Usage

  • Currency conversion uses the latest ECB rates the bot can fetch.
  • Unit conversion uses local tables and does not call an external rate API.
  • The bot needs Send Messages in the channel where the command is used.
