Refund Policy

This page covers paid Lio.gg plans (Plus, Premium, and other paid plans) that you conclude as a consumer within the meaning of § 13 German Civil Code (BGB). A consumer is any natural person who enters into the contract for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession. The contract clause is section 8 of the Terms.

Entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB have no right of withdrawal. The free plan is not a paid contract and is not covered by this refund.

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving reasons (§ 355 BGB in conjunction with §§ 312g, 356 BGB). We refer to this statutory right as the "14-Day Money-Back Guarantee".

The period starts on the day the contract is concluded, or when payment is received for the respective paid plan.

A clear statement is enough. The simplest way is an email to support@lio.gg within the 14 days. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to.

Include the Discord account or the email used for payment, the plan, and the payment date so we can match the refund.

If withdrawal is effective, we refund amounts already paid without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method unless otherwise agreed. Payments run through Stripe.

Refunds are not granted after this 14-day period has expired, unless mandatory law (for example claims for defects) requires otherwise. Cancelling a subscription stops renewal; it is not itself a withdrawal within the period.

You can cancel in the dashboard, in the Stripe customer portal, or by email to support@lio.gg. Details are in the Terms.

If you expressly agreed that we begin performance before the withdrawal period ends and confirmed that you are aware withdrawal may expire once the digital service is fully performed, the right of withdrawal may end early where the service has been fully delivered (§ 356 para. 5 BGB). We will inform you before performance begins where required by law.
