Tickets guide

Set up Discord tickets

Stand up free Lio Tickets in minutes: categories, a CV2 panel, staff roles, then a clean path into Helpdesk when your team needs SLAs.

1. Enable the Tickets module

Sign in at lio.gg, pick your server, and open Modules → Tickets. Enable the module. Grant Manage Channels and Send Messages if you are not using Administrator.

Free Tickets already cover private channels, panels, and staff roles. You do not need Plus on day one.

2. Categories and panel

Create categories that match how members ask for help (Billing, Access, Appeals, Other). Assign the staff roles that should see each category.

Post a CV2 or classic panel in your support channel. Pin it. Point members at the panel instead of DMing mods.

3. Train, test, then optionally upgrade

Open a test ticket, claim it, close with a transcript. Walk staff through the same loop once.

When you need first-response SLAs, macros, priorities, or agent stats, upgrade to Plus and enable Helpdesk on the same server — no second ticket bot.
