LIO UNINSTALLER – PRIVACY NOTICE Version 1.0 · effective 16 October 2026 In short: Lio Uninstaller works entirely on your computer. It sends no data to us or to anyone else. 1. No data transfer The Software has no telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, advertising, user accounts or automatic update checks. Its built-in interface is technically blocked from accessing the internet: every network request is rejected inside the app, and host names cannot be resolved. We, the publisher, therefore do not receive or process any personal data through the Software. 2. Links to the web (optional) “Strict offline mode” is on by default. If you switch it off in Settings, you can use “Search the web”, “Publisher website” and “Show in Store”. Only when you click one of these does Windows open the page in your default browser or in the Microsoft Store. For a web search, the name of the program you clicked is sent to the search engine you selected. From that point on, the privacy policy of that website or provider applies. 3. Data stored on your computer To work, the Software stores the following data locally. It never leaves your device: • Settings – %APPDATA%\LioUninstaller\settings.json (your preferences and the date you accepted the license agreement). • History – %APPDATA%\LioUninstaller\history.json (names, publishers and versions of programs you removed, date, number of removed items and space freed). • Technical log – %APPDATA%\LioUninstaller\lio-uninstaller.log (errors and blocked requests; limited to about 2 MB). • Interface cache – %LOCALAPPDATA%\LioUninstaller\WebView2 (cache of the Microsoft WebView2 component used to display the interface). • Backups – %ProgramData%\LioUninstaller\Backups (registry exports and copies of deleted startup entries; only accessible to administrators). • Exports – only if you click “Export list”: a list of installed programs saved to your desktop. Files you remove can end up in the Windows Recycle Bin if this is enabled in Settings. 4. Retention and deletion The data stays on your computer until you delete it. Under Legal → Your data you can delete all app data with one click. Uninstalling programs with the Software does not send their names anywhere; they are only kept in your local history, which you can clear at any time. 5. Your rights Because all data stays on your device and under your control, you can view, change and delete it at any time. If you have questions about privacy, contact us via lio.gg.
