LIO UNINSTALLER – END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT Version 1.0 · effective 16 October 2026 Please read this agreement carefully. By clicking “Accept” you agree to it. If you do not agree, click “Decline & exit” and do not use the software. 1. Parties and scope This agreement applies between you and the publisher of Lio Uninstaller, Lio (lio.gg) (“we”, “us”). It covers the program Lio Uninstaller, including updates we provide (the “Software”). 2. License 2.1 We grant you, free of charge, a simple (non-exclusive), non-transferable right to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for private purposes and for the internal purposes of your business. 2.2 You may not sell, rent or sublicense the Software, and you may not distribute modified versions under the name “Lio”. Rights you have under mandatory law (in particular sections 69d and 69e of the German Copyright Act, UrhG) remain unaffected. 2.3 The Software contains open-source components. They are licensed under their own terms (see “Open-source notices”). Nothing in this agreement restricts the rights those licenses grant you. 3. What the Software does – please read The Software makes changes to your system. Depending on what you choose, it starts the uninstall programs of third-party software, deletes files and folders, deletes or changes registry entries, changes startup entries, scheduled tasks and services, empties caches and the Recycle Bin, and can terminate running processes. Every deletion is only carried out after you have reviewed and confirmed it. The Software creates registry backups, can create Windows restore points and can move files to the Recycle Bin. These measures reduce the risk but cannot rule it out completely. Before larger changes, keep your own backup of important data. Only remove entries that you can assign with confidence. 4. Third-party software Uninstall programs, Windows tools and websites that the Software opens or starts on your request are provided by third parties. Their own terms apply. We are not responsible for their behaviour. 5. Warranty The Software is provided free of charge. Statutory warranty rights therefore only exist for defects that we have fraudulently concealed (section 524 of the German Civil Code, BGB). Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected. 6. Liability 6.1 Because the Software is provided free of charge, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence (section 521 BGB). 6.2 This limitation does not apply to damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, to liability under the German Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG), to fraudulently concealed defects, or where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law. 7. Privacy The Software does not transmit any data to us or to third parties. Details are in the Privacy Notice, which is part of the Software. 8. Trademarks Microsoft, Windows, Microsoft Edge and WebView2 are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Google Chrome is a trademark of Google LLC. Firefox is a trademark of the Mozilla Foundation. Opera, Brave, Vivaldi and all other product names are trademarks of their respective owners. They are mentioned only to identify compatible software. No affiliation with or endorsement by these companies is implied. 9. Changes to this agreement If we change this agreement, the Software will ask you to accept the new version before you continue to use it. 10. Governing law The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected. 11. Severability If any provision of this agreement is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected. 12. Contact Publisher: Lio – lio.gg.
